The Mouth was born as the product of a Senior Expedition in 2016 and has been entrusted in the hands of new generations of student editors ever since. In 2018, The Mouth opened up its leadership and allowed for a volunteer staff who were able to publish and distribute The Mouth at high volumes. In the fall of 2020, The Mouth extended its platform online so as to combat the decline of physical newsletters due to said pandemic. It has served as a harbor to student artists, a repository for entertainment, an ambassador of information, and a catalyst for change.
